Pumpkin Spice Latte lovers

It’s the time of year where everything is starting to become seasonal. Before you put up your Christmas decorations take time to enjoy fall and Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is notorious for leaves changing colors, turkeys, and pumpkins. Put Christmas on the back burner for a few more weeks and celebrate Thanksgiving by making a Pumpkin Spice Latte.

After experimenting with a few recipes I decided that this version of the Pumpkin Spice Latte was the best. I got it from allrecipes.com.

  • 2 tablespoons canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger brewed espresso
Combine the hot milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice in a blender; blend until frothy. Pour the mixture into 3 coffee mugs to about 2/3 full. Pour 2 ounces coffee into each mug. Garnish each mug with whipped topping and pumpkin pie spice.

Like this? Let’s make this complex recipe simple.

Here are other versions of the Pumpkin Spice Lattee. You can try a variety of recipes found online  such as this version, or this detailed and more complex way. from  If you’re good in the kitchen then you can even try to make your own recipe. I’m not a very good cook so my contribution to this recipe was to present it very nicely. I served the latte in nice big mugs, put it on a tray, put fake foliage around it, and served it to my friends on a nice chill day. Not only can you experiment with the taste of the latte but the presentation of it as well. Enjoy!
